Grace Jiang

Grace is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her B.S. in Computer Science and B.S. in Business Analytics (the Wharton School) in 2022.

Grace is interested in how data science can inform public policy to promote equity and well-being. Her broader interests include understanding human behavior, effective education, and social systems through both data-driven and humanitarian lenses.

Her main technical skills are data science/analysis and full-stack development. Other interests: algorithmic programming, artificial intelligence, mobile development, software development.

Industry Experience

Quantitative Trader at IMC Trading (2022-2025): Python/Pandas; Traded equity options on the strategy operations desk. Currently on garden leave (paid non-compete).
Software Engineering Intern at Jane Street (Summer 2021): OCaml; Worked on batching orders in internal trading system.
Software Engineering Intern at Facebook (Spring 2021): GraphQL/PHP; Worked on Neighborhoods Discovery feature.
FBU Engineering Intern at Facebook (Summer 2020): Java; Built Android application that matched non-profits & volunteers in database.
